| Paralegal Program Information
The Paralegal Studies curriculum emphasizes written and oral communication
skills and provides in-class opportunities for technical skills
development. Courses are taught by attorneys who are selected based
upon their experience in the subject manner as well as their familiarity
with the function of paralegals as part of the legal team. Graduates
of the program will be qualified to work for an attorney and be
able to perform standard office work, legal research and do some
legal writing. The courses are transferable and would prepare the
student to pursue a bachelor’s degree. The program does not
qualify the graduate to present a case before a judge.
