| Associate
of Science in Nursing Program Information
The Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program is a selective admission program designed for non-nurses and the licensed practical nurses seeking educational mobility to the associate degree level. Graduates of the ASN Program are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN examination to become registered nurses.
It is important to understand that admission to the college is separate from admission to the ASN Program. Contact Student Affairs for information about the Ivy Tech Community College admissions process and requirements for being program-ready.
The nursing programs are currently in the process of revising the nursing curriculum. We are unable to provide detailed information about the new changes until all curriculum approvals have occurred. Please see the Nursing Program Overview and Application Booklet
