Liberal Arts Program Information

Ivy Tech Community College - Richmond offers both the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree and Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Liberal Arts. This program of study is specifically designed for transfer to a four-year university.  

Requirements include a variety of 200-level courses in the concentration, and General Education electives such as Economics, History, Political Science, and Biology. Communication, two semesters of writing, and mathematics (at or above the Intermediate Algebra level) are also required.  The A.A. degree has an additional component of Spanish I and Spanish II.
