International Students, F-1, M-1 Status Admissions Procedures

Your application will not be considered complete until you have submitted all the information requested, which is listed below in steps 1 through 7, as applicable. The requirements must be met at least sixty (60) days before regular registration. All documents re-ceived are the property of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana.

1. Signed Admissions Application.
2. Official copies of all secondary and post-secondary academic records.
3. Proof of financial solvency.
4. Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana mandatory health insurance.
5. Transfer student information (if applicable).
6. Valid F-1 Visa. After Form I-20 has been submitted.
7. Submission of TOEFL scores (if applicable) and completion of on-campus skills assessment.

You will be notified of your acceptance as a student in writing as soon as a decision is made. If you are accepted, the Form I-20 will be mailed directly to you if you are outside the United States for submission to your Embassy or Consultant.

IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO MAINTAIN UP-TO-DATE DOCUMENTS RELATED AND ATTACHED TO TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION WHILE ATTENDING THE COLLEGE.

Additional Information

Each student will be required to take the COMPASS test. After the student receives the results from the test, he/she will be assigned a program advisor who will assist in the selection of courses.
