Transcripts

If you are transferring to Ivy Tech Community College and have previously taken classes at another college, we will need to evaluate your official transcripts from that college.

If your previous institution uses a Secure E-Transcript Service, you may request that your Secure Official transcript be emailed to us at indy-transcripteval@lists.ivytech.edu. The E-transcript service is a very efficient way to have your transcript sent to us.  In most cases, it arrives in our office the same day you request it.

To order your official Ivy Tech transcript, use one of the following methods:

  • If all of your coursework at Ivy Tech was taken Fall 1990 or later, click here to request your transcript.
  • If any of your coursework at Ivy Tech was taken PRIOR to Fall 1990, you may:
    • Mail  the completed form to our address listed above.
  • There is a $5 fee for each transcript ordered. Credit card information cannot be taken over the phone or via email, fax or mail.
  • Transcript request forms cannot be emailed to our office.
  • Transcript requests are normally processed within 7-10 business days (Exceptions may exist).
  • Our office cannot fax or e-mail transcripts.

Enrollment Verification Request

  • Log onto Campus Connect using your User ID and Password
  • Click the "Enrollment Verification" link under My Ivy Tech
  • All paper forms that are dropped off/faxed to our office will be sent to the National Student Clearinghouse

  • Used to drop and add courses to your schedule.

Transcript Evaluation

  • Only official transcripts can be evaluated to award transfer credit at Ivy Tech.
  • You must be degree-seeking (not courses-only) at Ivy Tech for a Transcript Evaluation.
  • Do not request a Transcript Evaluation if only using previous college credit to meet Ivy Tech course prerequisites. Please contact an advisor for these types of requests.
  • We do not perform unofficial/preliminary evaluations.
  • Your previous college transcripts must come to us directly from your previous institution in order to be considered “official.” If submitted by you, these must be in the institution’s sealed envelope and marked “official.”
  • Your previous college can mail your official transcript to:

  • If your previous institution uses a secure E-Transcript Service, you may request that your Secure Official transcript be e-mailed to us at the following e-mail: ballbrig@ivytech.edu.

  • Transcripts are not evaluated unless a request is submitted.
  • Results of Transcript Evaluations will be sent to your Ivy Tech email address. Evaluations may take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
