Job outlook for a person graduating from a paramedic program are very good. Potential employers are hospitals using paramedics in the emergency rooms, cardiac cath labs, and MRI units, ambulance services as front line medics and as supervisors or at the director level. Additionally, paramedics are being hired as flight paramedics, professional sports teams in conjunction with team athletic trainers and within industrial sites. With the paramedic taking the National Registry Certification exam and passing, a graduate could transfer just about anywhere in the country much easier.
