Why "BONUS"?
The BONUS Program is a bonus in more than one way. Merriam-Webster's dictionary defines "bonus" as: something in addition to what is expected or strictly due. That is precisely what you get if you take advantage of the program; something beyond the expected and required that shows the world the kind of achiever you are.
Why should juniors and seniors in high school enroll in courses at Ivy Tech?

Many transferable credits
- Hundreds of courses transfer from Ivy Tech to other colleges and universities; and if your high school allows, credits will transfer in for high school credit as well.
- Small class size: Average class size at Ivy Tech is 22 students.
How many semesters can you participate? How many credits can you earn?
You can take as many courses as you want, and you can enroll as often as your school and parents will allow.
Who can participate?
Any high school student who meets the course prerequisites and who will be at least 16 years old as of the first day the course meets.
