SELLERSBURG, Ind. (AP) - Ivy Tech Community College has set a record for statewide enrollment with a 10.3% increase in the number of students for the start of the fall semester.

The 23-campus system has over 77,000 students enrolled across Indiana for this week's start of classes.

The Sellersburg campus in southern Indiana saw a nearly 11% increase to over 3,900 students. The campus is planning a $20 million expansion project that could be completed in 2009.

Ivy Tech's Bloomington campus had over 5,000 students enrolled as of Tuesday, a nearly 10% increase from last fall.

The Fort Wayne campus saw a four percent increase in enrollment.
