Major Opportunities provides 100 hours of classroom training of pre-apprenticeship and on-the-job training to Indiana minority residents seeking a career in the building and construction industry, at no cost to the participant. Such training prepares people for entry into construction trades apprenticeship programs and construction jobs with annual salaries as high as $40,000-$60,000 a year. The program is currently offered in Indianapolis, Gary, South Bend, Fort Wayne and Evansville.
