This course expands upon the introduction to the field of industrial controls.  Students will learn the principles of control systems and how they are applied to a production system to achieve automation.  Systems included in the courses are stepper motors, programmable logic controllers, microprocessors, computers and feedback systems.  Emphasis is placed on programmable logic controllers and the local area network.
