We also offer open enrollment courses that allow individuals throughout the state to take advantage of workforce training to position them for job placement, career advancement or performance and pay increases.

With hundreds of options Ivy Tech Community College is the state's top training organization and is changing the lives of those that receive the training and changing Indiana's workforce.

Home Energy Conservation Program Contractor Training
This training is offered through the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) at no up-front cost to you. The goal of this training is to provide several thousand contractors throughout the state the skills necessary to apply advanced weatherization and energy conservation techniques on a variety of homes.

Advanced Manufacturing
Training 2009
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) is an industry-led training, assessment and certification system focused on the core skills and knowledge needed by the nation's production workers. The MSSC System, based upon federally-endorsed national standards, offers these workers the opportunity to demonstrate that they have mastered the skills increasingly needed in the high-growth, technical jobs of the 21st century.

In addition to certification, those who successfully complete the program will earn six credit hours toward a technology degree at Ivy Tech. Those nine credits will be the equivalent of the following three technology courses: Intro to Workplace safety, Manufacturing Processes and quality Control Processes and Techniques.
