LINK. Ivy Tech and Indiana University Kokomo have joined to create the LINK Program, which is committed to helping students reach their educational goals. Program requirements include:
- Admission to Ivy Tech
- Academic assessment in reading, writing and mathematics
- Completion of academic skills courses required by Ivy Tech
- Satisfactory completion of 12 credit hours at Ivy Tech, including ENG 111, English Composition; MAT 111, Intermediate Algebra; and two additional General Education classes totaling six credit hours selected from the Ivy Tech/IUK course transfer guide; and attainment of an overall cumulative GPA of 2.00 in all Ivy Tech courses
- Students completing the academic course requirements described above with course grades and cumulative GPA as required will be guaranteed admission to Indiana University Kokomo.
Acceptance to this program is based on referral from the four-year institution. CONNECT. Ball State University and Ivy Tech offer a program for students who do not qualify for admission to Ball State. The BSU/Ivy Tech CONNECT Program provides you with the opportunity to earn college credit while working to gain admission into Ball State. As a CONNECT Program participant, you are required to earn a minimum of 24 transferable credits at Ivy Tech. An assessment test is required to determine your skill level in writing, reading and mathematics. In addition to required Ivy Tech academic skills advancement classes, the program also requires the completion of three years of college prep mathematics. Acceptance to this program is based on referral from the four-year institution.
DegreeLink. Ivy Tech and Indiana State University partner in the Indiana State University DegreeLink Program. DegreeLink is a program that enables you to transfer your Ivy Tech associate degree and complete selected ISU bachelor's degrees via distance learning. Courses are offered in convenient formats, such as the Internet.
