Ivy Tech Community College’s Dual Enrollment Program can help you get ahead while earning college credit for coursework completed in high school, saving you time and money.
What is dual credit?
High school juniors and seniors in north central Indiana are earning college credits for some of their high school courses and career center programs through the Dual Credit Program at Ivy Tech. By the time these students graduate from high school they already have a strong head start on their college education at a cost far below regular college and university prices, saving both time and money.
Eligibility
• Must be a high school junior or senior
• Apply for admission to Ivy Tech as a dual enrollment student
• Must provide the Office of Admissions with one of the following: SAT scores of 460 or above
in all areas, ACT scores of 19 or above in all
areas or successful scores on the Ivy Tech COMPASS assessment
• Earn a grade of “B or better” in the course to earn college creditCOMPASS assessment
Students who have not taken the ACT or SAT or did not meet the minimum scores required for admission should contact the Learning Resource Center (LRC) to schedule an assessment. This assessment is free.

Fees
Tuition is waived for students enrolled in the dual credit program, which is a huge savings to the student and his or her family.
