Transfer guide
Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the same accrediting agency that accredits all other state supported colleges and universities in Indiana and the Midwest.
By June 2007, Ivy Tech will have 80 classes that are guaranteed to transfer to all state supported colleges and universities. This information can be found at The Indiana Core Transfer Library at http://www.transferin.net/CTL/index.html. In addition, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education provides an interactive program specific transfer guide at http://www.che.state.in.us/transfer/.

Transition programs
These transition programs prepare students to enroll full time into three of Indiana's universities. Each has specific curricula guidelines. But with successful completion, guarantees admission.
Dual enrollment
Finally, new legislation passed in 2006 and new policy guidelines from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education have restructured dual credit. Dual enrollment classes between area high schools and Ivy Tech are guaranteed to transfer to all public colleges and universities if listed in the Indiana Core Transfer Library.
For more information, contact Ivy Tech's Office of Student Affairs at (888) IVY-LINE.
Accreditation and transferability. Ivy Tech is accredited by the same organization that accredits other colleges and universities in Indiana and Midwestern states.
