* Those who did not complete high school can also attend classes for one year, pending the completion of a GED or their high school coursework. Students without a high school diploma or GED are financial aid eligible if they demonstrate Ability to Benefit (ATB).Steps to complete when applying at Ivy Tech:
- Feel free to visit your local campus and meet with an admissions counselor to learn what Ivy Tech can do for you.
- Complete an application online or print the application and submit to the Admissions Office. You will also need to provide the Admissions Office with an official copy of your high school transcript and GED scores*.
- Complete a skills assessment so you can decide which courses you'll need to succeed at Ivy Tech. Your ACT or SAT scores also may serve this purpose or college coursework less than 10 years old from a regionally accredited institution may be used. - Make financial aid arrangements.
