Student Life offices are housed on Kokomo's main campus, 1815 E. Morgan St., in the Annex building just west of the main building.

Mystery trips
Make plans now to take part in one of Ivy Tech's FUN and enriching experineces. Mystery Trips provide a variety of adventures that include everything from cultural exhibits and plays to visits to the baseball or football field. Each trip offers a new experience and the opportunity to meet new friends. One of the most interesting things about them is the fact that you don't know where you're going until the Mystery Bus arrives at its destination. Ready for an adventure? Student Life As you join Ivy Tech's diverse student body, you become part of a community of learners. That means more than just what happens in the classroom. You will have many opportunities to get involved in a variety of student organizations, including student government, the Phi Theta Kappa honor society and the Leadership Academy. If writing is your thing, you may want to join the staff of the student newspaper, one of Student Life's newest organizations. Student Government. The Student Government Association (SGA) is the representative governing body of the students. SGA was established by students to encourage participation in student government and to promote college spirit and recognition.

Phi Theta Kappa. Phi Theta Kappa is a national honor society for two-year colleges. Its purpose is to recognize and promote academic excellence. This is done by providing leadership development opportunities for service in chapter activities on campus and regional Phi Theta Kappa activities. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is by invitation only and is based on a minimum grade point average as well as completion of a specified number of semester hours. clubs. Students wishing to organize hobby, social or special interest clubs should submit proposals to the SGA. Each club must have officers and a staff advisor.

Student Newspaper. If you enjoy writing, consider joining one of Ivy Tech’s newest student groups. The newspaper also needs students who are interested in photography or graphic design.

Business Administration Student Organization (BASO). Students interested in business will enjoy involvement in Ivy Tech's newest student organization, BASO. Guest speakers, business news, workshops and social events are part of this organizations agenda. Students from all programs are welcome to become members.

Ivy Players. Ivy Tech's readers theatre group is a traveling group who perform at several civic and college events throughout the year. Directed by Betty-Joyce Surface, Ivy Players is comprised of students from all academic areas. No prior theatre or speech team experience is required. All students interested in stage performing are encouraged to participate.
