Ivy Tech’s Hildenbrand elected to national ATEA board
KOKOMO, Ind.—Jane Hildenbrand, chairperson and associate professor of Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Region’s Early Childhood Education Program, was recently elected to the American Technical Education Association’s (ATEA) national board of trustees. As a member of the ATEA Board of Trustees, Hildenbrand will help to elect officers and conduct the business affairs of the association in accordance with the charter and bylaws. The board establishes policy and authorizes activities which are in the best interest of the association.
The American Technical Education Association (ATEA) is the premier association for the postsecondary technical educator with emphasis on professional development. Educators and individuals from business and industry come together at conferences to discuss the latest trends and developments in technology. The organization is dedicated to excellence in the quality of postsecondary technical education with emphasis on practical teaching ideas and best practices.
