KOKOMO, Ind.—The Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo Region Alumni Association has selected Mallory Green as the recipient of the 2008-09 Family of Alumni Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship will be applied to tuition costs first but may also cover fees, books and supplies.
The Rochester native is pursuing a nursing degree at Ivy Tech’s Logansport campus and was selected as a result of her strong academic record, community involvement and civic leadership. Her father is a 1996 graduate of Ivy Tech’s nursing program.
The Ivy Tech Community College Alumni Association is a way for past and present Ivy Tech students to keep in touch with their alma mater. It offers members networking opportunities, invitations to college-sponsored events, community service projects, career placement assistance, and much more.
