Ivy Tech Community College News Release
KOKOMO, Ind.—Ivy Tech Community College recently appointed Julie Diesman as the director of its Library/Learning Resource Center at its main campus in Kokomo. Diesman brings years of experience in higher education administration and management to the college.
During Diesman’s 18-year career in higher education, she’s served in several positions including financial aid specialist, adjunct faculty, financial aid counselor, and as the manager of IU Kokomo’s Office of Career Services. Diesman holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University Kokomo, a Master’s of Science in education from Indiana University, and a Master’s of Library Science from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis.
At Ivy Tech, Diesman will provide leadership for the development of the region’s libraries, oversee the development and delivery of library services including circulation and reference information, and she also will supervise library staff.
