You're the kind of person who wants to make the most of every minute. You're ready to learn something new and you'd like to meet new people. You want a challenge but you also want to have fun. And you want something that's available close to home, on your schedule.

WELL, SAY HELLO TO ED.

Ed is a new series of continuing education and personal enrichment programs from Ivy Tech Community College. But Ed is a lot more, too. Ed can help you dabble in a new hobby, or connect you with people who have the same interests as you. Ed shares your curiosity and thirst for learning, but he also likes to kick back and enjoy himself. And he's always ready for something new.

IN FACT, ED IS A LOT LIKE YOU.

To get to know Ed a little better, browse through our class schedule online. You'll find everything from cooking and do-it-yourself classes to foreign language and wellness programs. And if you have ideas about classes you'd like to suggest, give Ed a call. He's here to help.

The Office of Continuing Education is a division of Ivy Tech Community College offering short-term, noncredit, professional development and personal enrichment courses to Hoosiers who understand that learning does not end with a degree. Classes range from aviation ground school, food safety, photography, car maintenance clinics to Microsoft Office 2007.

Whether you're learning a new skill, brushing up on a rusty one, or excited about exploring personal enrichment, Ivy Tech's Office of Continuing Education offers you many great opportunities for lifelong learning.

Continuing education classes are open to students of all ages and do not require a formal admission process. Instructors are professionals who bring expertise to the learning process.

Professional development
Looking to update your job skills? Consider a short-term course at Ivy Tech. From classes to familiarize you with the new Office 2007 software to wastewater management, Continuing Education provides an array of workshops/courses for those who want to enhance work skills.

Many of our courses prepare students for certification exams, such as professional food manager certification and OSHA courses, just to name a couple. Exams can be scheduled through the college's Workforce Certification Center.
