Distance Education Process for Testing Sites
- Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana-Central Indiana has two Testing Labs. Please review the location and hours below before choosing one Testing Lab.
- You will need to submit to your home site or instructor the name of the one proctor site you have chosen: either the North Meridian Campus (Main Campus) or the Fairbanks Center for Health Professions (Lawrence Campus) with all its contact information.
- Testing is done on a walk-in basis. It is not necessary to schedule an appointment. Before showing up to take your test, please call or email your designated testing lab to make sure your test is available.

Testing Lab Rules and Procedures for Students
- All students must have a valid photo I.D. such as a current driver's license or student I.D. to be allowed to test in the Testing Lab. Students will not be allowed to take a test if they do not have a valid I.D.
- No food or beverages will be permitted in the Testing Lab. No cell phones, children, or talking will be permitted. These rules will be strictly enforced.
- Once started, students must finish their test. Students may not leave in the middle of a test and come back later to finish. Students will not be given more than one test at one time. The students will have to completely finish one test before beginning another. Time limits will be strictly enforced. Students must begin their test with enough time to finish before the lab closes.
- No cheating of any kind will be tolerated in the lab. If a student appears to be cheating in the lab, his/her test will be taken away and he/she will be asked to leave the lab. The Dean of Student Affairs will receive documentation about the incident. The instructor will enforce appropriate disciplinary action.
