On Line Registration -- (http://cc.ivytech.edu)

  • In order to register online you must be an admitted, enrolled student.
  • Going into the Academic Course Online Registration System
  • You must know the Course Reference numbers (CRN) for the courses in which you wish to enroll.
  • The CRN numbers are the five-digit identifiers found after the course title in the class schedule listing.
  • You will also need to know the course codes and the days and times the courses are offered.
  • It would be time effective to write this out before accessing Campus Connect. There is an online time limit; pauses to look up the necessary information could disconnect you from CP.
  • Read through all the steps below before attempting to register online.
  • This system is available at all times except for advertised maintenance times.
  • Check the academic calendar (http://cc.ivytech.edu) to see when online registration is available.
  • Students may register for a class on-line up to the day the class begins.

Phone Registration == "Student Telephone Access Response System"

To register by phone: 1-877-489-8324 - you must use a touchtone telephone which produces a tone when you push any button. The touchtone telephone functions as a computer keyboard giving you live access to the telephone registration computer.

This system is available to returning credit students who have active enrollment records within the last two years. However, closed classes, courses not listed in this schedule, the audit grade option and registration hold messages cannot be processed through telephone registration. You must go to the appropriate office or to your advisor for assistance in resolving these issues.

In summary:

  • Complete the STARS Registration Worksheet - You should complete the entire telephone registration worksheet before calling the system number.
  • Call the STARS Registration Number - 1-877-489-TECH - When you call the touchtone registration number the telephone will be answered by a computerized voice response system that will guide you through a process with a series of commands and questions.
  • Listing of classes - Following all registration activity you can find out what classes you are registered for by having your schedule read back to you. Please listen carefully to each course number and course name. You may make corrections before disconnection if your schedule is not correct.
