College.gov is intended to be the go-to source for information and resources about planning, preparing and paying for post-secondary education (such as 2 or 4-year colleges and universities, and vocational or career schools). Most importantly, college.gov is to provide inspiration and hope to all students, and encourage them to consider and pursue a post-secondary education.

   

   


The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the core document necessary to apply for all types of student financial aid available through the state and federal governments as well as the colleges and universities. Students can now fill out the FAFSA online!

   

   



FinAid has grown into the most comprehensive annotated collection of information about student financial aid on the web. Access to FinAid is free for all users.

   

   

The State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana (SSACI) has been offering assistance to college-bound citizens since 1965.

   

   


FastWeb lets students create a personalized profile that can be matched against an expansive database of scholarship opportunities. The FastWeb database has over 600,000 scholarships totaling more than $1 billion. FastWeb also notifies students when new scholarships are added and application deadlines are approaching.

   

   

The Student Guide is the most comprehensive resource on student financial aid from the U.S. Department of Education. Grants, loans, and work-study are the three major forms of student financial aid available through the Department's Student Financial Assistance office. Updated each award year, The Student Guide tells you about the programs and how to apply for them.

   

   

This site gives college students and those planning for college easy access to the information and services they need from the U.S. Government. These online government services and information sources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

   

   

The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is the U.S. Department of Education's central database for student aid. It receives data from schools, agencies that guaranty loans, the Direct Loan program, the Pell Grant program, and other U.S. Department of Education programs. NSLDS provides a centralized, integrated view of Title IV loans and Pell grants that are tracked through their entire cycle; from aid approval through closure.
