| The Institutional Scholarships are available from fall semester, through summer semester of the academic year. The award typically may only be used for two semesters. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served fund available basis provided a student’s financial aid file is complete. Students must apply annually. Criteria: - Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by applying online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Indicate Ivy Tech Community College-Central Region is to receive your information. The school code is 009917.
- Students must register for a minimum of six credit hours and awards will be pro-rated according to the student’s registration status. There is a $600 maximum for 12+ credits; $450 for 9 credits; and $300 for 6 credits.
- Students must have an Ivy Tech Community College-Central Region cumulative 2.0 GPA in order to receive a scholarship unless noted otherwise. First time students at Ivy Tech Community College-Central Region must have a high school diploma with a cumulative 2.0 GPA or have passed the GED. In order to continue receiving this award, students must earn a 2.5 GPA.
- Students must complete 75% of the credit hours registered for in each semester to continue to receive the award.
- Students must demonstrate no federal or state grant eligibility for the full scholarship award. Students with some grant eligibility or other forms of assistance for tuition and books may be eligible for a partial scholarship award.
- Most awards cover two semesters; exceptions will be noted under the specific scholarship information and are awarded for tuition and fees only. The scholarship is non-refundable.
