Daffodil Days at Ivy Tech Community College - Central Indiana

One of the first flowers of spring, the daffodil is a symbol of hope.  To the American Cancer Society, the flower represents the hope of a world free from cancer.  Now you can share this hope with others.  Buy a bunch of pretty flowers and help the American Cancer Society make a difference.

  • Single stem = $1
  • 10 daffodils without vase = $10
  • 10 daffodils with vase = $15

Join Team Ivy Tech as we participate in the  annual walk/run to support the Susan G. Komen  Breast Cancer Foundation.

Entry fee for participants is $11.00 for Ivy Tech students, alumni, faculty and staff (Ivy Tech will cover the additional $12.00).  Entry fee for non-Ivy Tech participants is $23.00.  Please make checks out to Komen Indianapolis.

Open to all students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the College. To register, please complete and return this form, with your entry fee, to:

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Hospitality Administration Program at Ivy Tech Community College - Central Indiana is offering two camps for high school juniors and seniors with an interest in the culinary industry.

Ivy Tech Community College offers the only accredited program in the state of Indiana.

COST: $175 PER STUDENT

Includes:

  • Mercer knife tool kit/baking kit
  • Chef jacket
  • Closing dinner for students and parents

LEVEL І (For incoming juniors or seniors with no prior learning experience in a high school culinary program)

7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Cooking Demo by a Top Indy Chef

LEVEL ΙΙ (For incoming juniors or seniors with one or more years experience in a high school culinary program)

1 to 6 p.m.

  • Advanced Knife Skills
  • Stock & Sauce Development
  • Garde Manger Work
  • Meat Fabrication
  • Cooking demo by a top Indianapolis chef

BAKE SHOP CAMP

7:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

  • Yeast Breads
  • Pastries
  • Cakes & Wedding Cake Demo with leading pastry chef
