Orientation For High School Students With Disabilities

If you are a high school student with disabilities, a parent of a high school student with disabilities or a high school counselor or teacher of record who works with high school students with disabilities, you don't want to miss this opportunity. The orientation will focus on key information necessary for success with their educational goals at Ivy Tech Community College- Central Indiana

The orientation will cover the following topics:

Introduction to Disability Support Services

Transition from high school to college
Appropriate documentation (presented by Dr. Michael O'Brien)
Admissions process at Ivy Tech Community College
Introduction to the Learning Centers and tutoring services
Student life and opportunities to get involved at Ivy Tech Community College
Career planning and post-graduation services available through Career Services
Introduction to TRIO Student Support Services and the Nina Mason Pulliam Scholarship programs
Vocational rehabilitation services
