The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) will assess your personality type and help you discover careers that best fit your individual type. Please contact please contact Career Services at 317-921-4881 to take this assessment.
Resume Preparation and Interview Skills
Career Services will teach you how to create an effective resume and cover letter or critique your resume. Prepare for your next interview by using InterviewStream, our online mock interviewing software. We will provide tips on the proper dress and etiquette for the interview and have information on organizations that may be able to help you obtain an interview outfit for free.
JobZone-Online Job Board
Students and Alumni can find part-time, full-time,and internship positions on Ivy Tech's online job board, JobZone Upload your resume to JobZone to apply directly to posted jobs and internships and allow employers to view your resume. You will also receive emails with current job postings and events for career services and the local community.
Internships
Gain valuable work experience in your field and increase your chances of getting a job by doing an internship. Internships are often paid and will provide you with a great opportunity to network, apply your knowledge, and gain relevant work experience. To begin, register on JobZone or contact Career Services.

Schedule a Career Services' Presentation or Workshop
Career Services offers Ivy Tech faculty a variety of presentation topics for their classrooms to educate students on career development and prepare them for the job market.
All Career Services staff has experience and expertise in career and professional development. Our professional staff will customize any of the listed workshops/presentations for your class. View a full listing of our class presentation topics.
Requesting a presentation at least two weeks ahead of time maximizes the probability that a staff member will be available for your workshop.

What Can I Do With This Major accessed through Campus Connect. On the CC home page under the Student Services box, click on the career services link. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on What Can I Do With This Major? link. Click on a major for information on career paths.
