Fast Track is an exciting opportunity for eligible students to complete their high school requirements, earn an Indiana Department of Education diploma, and in many cases begin to build a college transcript. Based on SAT, ACT, or COMPASS assessments scores, a fast track student is follows a specific curriculum to meet CORE 40 requirements. Basic Education, Pre-Collegiate, and Collegiate tracks are available for fast track students. Using the checklist below interested students can determine the right documents to complete.
Fast Track to College 17+
- student must be 17 years of age or older
- student must be actively engaged with a high school AND receive school's consent
- school corporation will pay costs through ADM (average daily membership)
- student must be able to provide funds for transportation, food service, textbooks and class supplies and materials.
- student be eligible for placement at the 11 th grade as demonstrated by his/her high school transcript (20 – 25 high school credits successfully complete)
- student must be able to demonstrate ability to benefit from coursework via Ivy Tech's assessment test (COMPASS) or via SAT or ACT results from test taken within the past 4 years)
- student must be willing to carry 12 credits (4 classes) each semester

Fast Track to College 19+
- student must be 19 years of age of older
- student must no longer be actively engaged with a high school
- student must be able to provide funds for tuition, books, materials, and fees.
- student be eligible for placement at the 11 th grade as demonstrated by his/her high school transcript (20 – 25 high school credits successfully complete)
- student must be able to demonstrate ability to benefit from coursework via Ivy Tech's assessment test (COMPASS) or via SAT or ACT results from test taken within the past 4 years)
- student must be willing to carry 12 credits (4 classes) each semester and earn a minimum of 15 hours of college level coursework
