First-Time College Student:

1. Complete Ivy Tech Community College Application for Admission & apply for financial aid
2. Complete Academic Assessment
   1.  Bring a copy of SAT/ACT scores to meet with an Academic Advisor or
   2.  Complete the COMPASS Assessment
3. Attend New Student Orientation to register for classes using Campus Connect

Students with College Credits:

 Transferring to Ivy Tech Community College (to earn an Ivy Tech Community College degree)

1. Complete Ivy Tech Community College Application for Admission & apply for financial aid
2. Complete Academic Assessment
   1.  Bring a copy of college transcripts to meet with an Academic Advisor or
   2.  b.  Complete the COMPASS Assessment (if necessary)
3. Attend New Student Orientation to register for classes using Campus Connect
4. Submit official copy of transcripts for all colleges attended to the Office of the Registrar to start the process of awarding transfer credit. (This process can take 6 to 8 weeks and is not necessary to have been completed before registration.  See an Academic Advisor for more information.)

 Visiting Ivy Tech Community College (taking classes to transfer to another institution)

1. Complete Ivy Tech Community College Application for Admission & apply for financial aid
2. Complete Academic Assessment
   1.  Bring a copy of college transcripts to meet with an Academic Advisor or
   2.  Complete the COMPASS Assessment (if necessary)
3. Meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss registration using Campus Connect

Returning to Ivy Tech Community College

Students who have not attended classes at Ivy Tech within the last two years need to meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss registration and next steps.

Current Students

Current students should register for classes using Campus Connect.  Students who have questions about which classes to take can meet with their Faculty Advisor or Advisor in the Academic Advising Center.  Students who need assistance with Campus Connect can visit Student Services.
