The Academic Advancement Division houses all developmental English, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), mathematics, study skills courses, as well as the First Year Experience course. In addition to these academic programs, the Academic Advancement Division provides support to students through the Learning Centers, Disability Support Services, Nina Mason Pulliam Legacy Scholars program, Online Accelerated Remediation, and TRiO Student Support Services.
The Academic Advancement Division assists with hosting GED and Adult Basic Education classes as well. Students may participate in daytime or evening classes free of charge.
