We applaud and encourage students to self advocate with faculty regarding their accommodation needs, but it is important to note that accommodations should be approved through DSS.

• For accommodations to be approved through DSS, a student must self-identify and provide DSS with documentation of disability including the functional limitations that would warrant accommodations in your class.  If a student inquires about accommodations, please refer them to DSS. However, students with disabilities have the legal right to not request accommodations through our office.
