Academic Advancement English Department

The ASA English Department provides courses in reading and writing that prepare students for college level course work. In addition to courses taught by the department, ASA English department provides assistance to students with writing assignments for both ASA English and college level coursework.

Reading and Writing Learning Center

The writing and learning center is a place to get help with writing and reading tasks. The staff can provide assistance in vocabulary, spelling, grammar, Microsoft Office tasks, and writing or revising essays, speeches, scholarship applications, case studies, and group research projects.

Reading and Writing Center hours are:

North Meridian Center
Monday- Thursday 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

Fairbanks Center
Monday- Friday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
