RE: Update to the Part-Time Employee Handbook

Below is brief description of updates made to the Part-Time Employee Handbook. We have established a direct link from this summary to each section in the handbook to provide you easy access to the update. Please be sure to review the updates carefully so you are fully aware of the changes

Personnel Policies and Procedures
Employment at the College    
  Faculty Promotion   Updated reference to detailed policy located In Academic Policy & Procedures Manual.
General College Opearations    
  Employer/Employee Relations   Replaces and updates Employee Complaints and Disciplinary Procedures Policies to an informal open door/problem resolution process for earlier notification and resolution of concerns. Corrective action will be accomplished through performance improvement plans.  When involuntary separation occurs for a full-time benefits-eligible employee an appeal process is available.
