As a part-time employee of the College, you are eligible for certain benefits.
Under Ivy Tech's Family and Medical Leave Act policy, you may be eligible to
take time off in the event that you or a member of your family develops a serious
health condition. Employees who perform duty in the "uniformed services"
are eligible to take time off for military training or service. If you are injured
on the job, the College provides Worker's Compensation benefits. Ivy Tech helps
you prepare for retirement by contributing an amount equal to the amount of
Social Security taxes which are withheld from your paycheck. In addition, Ivy
Tech provides an opportunity for you to participate in the College's wellness
program. These benefits are explained more fully in this section.
