Username Troubleshooting
- At the main Campus Connect login page, a person will not be granted access if they don't know their user
name or password. Your account will be disabled for approximately 2 minutes after the 5th failed login.
If after your third attempt you are still unable to login, please proceed to the "First Time User?",
"Forget your Username?" or "Forget your Password?" links on the main "Campus Connect" page.
- If you are unable to log into Campus Connect and you get an error message while inputting your
personal information in one of the following self service sections, the "First Time User?", "Forgot your
User Name?", or "Forgot your Password?" links, found on the home page of "Campus Connect", see tips below

- Verify the personal information you inputted is correct
- This is the zip code for your current mailing address on file with Ivy Tech Community College
- Students - Home zip code is the zip code you used when you registered with Ivy Tech
and/or updated with your Registrar, through Campus Connect or Web4 prior to January 3rd 2006
- Faculty and staff - Home zip code is the zip code you as an employee provided your human
resources department either when hired or most recently updated your personal information
- If the information above is correct, it is possible that the person that entered you into Ivy Tech
Community College student, faculty and staff database entered in part of the information incorrectly
- If still unsuccessful, visit the Whitepages and search for your information trying different variations
(using multiple options can help narrow your search: i.e. - first name only, first name and role, role and
title, last name, location and role)
- First name
- Last name
- Role, location and/or title
- A portion of your first or last name (If your last name is Jackson, type in jac and do a search
[you need to use at least the first 3 letters for name searches])
- If you are a "Junior" or a II or III, the system often will incorporate jr, ii or iii into your username.
Try to search with that in mind (ie John Jackson Jr may be "jjacksonjr@ivytech.edu" or John Jackson III
may be "jjacksoniii@ivytech.edu"
- If you are able to locate your information, but find that some part of the information is incorrect or
mis-spelled, please use the incorrect information to gain access and notify your Registrar if you are a
student or your Human Resources person if you are an employee (non-work study)
- If still unable to locate your information, create a ticket at https://helpdesk.ivytech.edu/createissue.php,
email at helpdesk@ivytech.edu or call locally (Indianapolis) at 317-921-4357 or toll free at
1-877-IVY-TECH (1-877-489-8324)
- Your account will be temporarily disabled for approximately 2 minutes after the 5th failed login on the
main Campus Connect screen.
- Your account will only be disabled (requiring assistance from Information Security) in Campus Connect if
you are unable to successfully answer 3 of your 6 security questions when resetting your password in the
Self Service section (the security questions are setup when you access the system for the first time).
