How do I use the Digital Drop Box?

How do I use the Digital Drop Box? The Digital Drop Box in Blackboard is used to store and share files. Instructors frequently use it to collect student homework. To use this feature, log in to eLearning and click on your course link. Click on the "Tools" menu bar on the left side of the screen. Select "Digital Drop Box" from the Tools menu. To send a file to your instructor that you have already placed in your digital dropbox, click the "Send File" button, select your desired file from the pull down menu (add comments if you desire) and click "Submit." To send a document to your instructor that is not already in the digital drop box, click "Send File," Click the "Browse" button, find your document, and click "Open." (Add the name and/or comments, using any file naming conventions specified by your instructor.) Click the "Submit" button when you are ready to send the document. If your file was sent successfully, you will see a "Receipt: Success" message. Click the "OK" button on this screen to see the contents of your personal folder. To store files in the digital drop box, click "Add File," click the "Browse" button, find your document, and click "Open". Type the Title and any optional comments. Click the "Submit" button when you are ready to upload the document.
