I clicked on my courses and there is nothing posted, what do I do?
There are 4 possible reasons:
  • Courses are not made available for viewing until the first day of classes
  • Your faculty is not using the on-line services to support your course – Contact your instructor
  • Your faculty has not posted any materials yet – Contact your instructor
  • You are taking a Terre Haute course and they use First Class

I am a faculty teaching at two locations, but when I log in, I only see information for one of the regions. Why is that?

Roles
Currently the mainframe can only pass on primary site information (which is the same as your degree campus or your hiring site) and therefore you will only see information based on your primary site. Here are some possible scenarios you may encounter:
  • If you are an employee at Region 8 and a student at Region 8, you will see content for both roles
  • If you are a faculty hired by Region 8, but also teach at Region 4, you will only see Region 8 content
  • If you are an employee hired by Region 8, but are taking courses at Region 7, you will see employee content for Region 8 and Student Content at Region 7
  • If you are a student taking course at Region 8 and it is your degree campus, but are taking courses at Region 2, you will only see Region 8 content
  • We are working to identify common content a multi-sites user may need and are working to pull together in a common channel. This is a workaround and we are researching if any changes can be made on the mainframe side, but if so, they would be major and not possible for this phase of the rollout.
