| How do I determine the version of Internet Explorer I am running? |
- Click on Help drop down menu while in Internet Explorer
- Select About Internet Explorer.
- The version as well as the cipher strength will be indicated
- Most applications will provide version information using the same steps

| Can I access Campus Connect using AOL, CompuServe and MSN? |
|
It has been reported that AOL, CompuServe, SBC/SBC Yahoo, Verizon and MSN users are unable to
access Campus Connect using vendor's browser. We recommend that you use the recommended
versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator to access Campus Connect as follows:
- Connect to the internet the way you normally connect
- Minimize the vendors browser window
- Click on the “Start” button in the lower left hand side of your desktop/screen
- Select “Programs”
- Click on the Internet Explorer blue “e” icon
- Access Campus Connect and login

| How do I enable cookies and java script on my browser? |

1. To enable cookies and JavaScript in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu. The Internet
Options dialog opens.
- Click the Security tab.
- Locate the Custom area of the Security tab, and click the
Custom Level button. The Security Settings dialog opens.
- Scroll down to the Cookies section of the Settings window. To access Campus Connect,
your browser must support non-persistent cookies. To enable this support, select the
Enable radio button under Allow per-session cookies (not stored).
- (Some of the third-party content and service providers that you can connect to through the Campus Connect
interface may require your browser to support persistent cookies. To enable support for persistent cookies,
select the Enable radio button under Allow cookies that are stored on your
computer .)
- Scroll down to the Scripting section of the Settings window. To access the Campus Connect
system, your browser must support JavaScript and Java. You must select the Enable radio
button under Active Scripting .
- Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog.
2. To enable cookies and JavaScript in Netscape Communicator , follow these steps:
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
The Preferences dialog opens.
- Select Advanced in the Category window. The right pane
displays a set of advanced options.
- In the top section of the right pane, select the Enable Java and Enable
JavaScript check boxes.
- To access the Campus Connect system, your browser must support non-persistent cookies.
To enable this support, in the Cookies section of the window, select the Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server .
Some of the third-party content and service providers that you can connect to through the Campus
Campus Connect interface may require your browser to support persistent cookies. To enable support
for persistent cookies, select the Accept all cookies check box.)
To save your changes and close the Preferences dialog, click the

To enable cookies and JavaScript in Internet Explorer , follow these steps:
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu. The Internet Explorer Preferences window opens.
- Select Java from the Web Browser menu
- Select Enable Java from the Java Options window that appears in the right-hand window pane
- Scroll through the Internet Explorer Preferences menu until you see the Receiving Files options. Click Cookies .
- From the right-hand window pane, locate the When Receiving Cookies menu.
- From the drop-down menu, select Never Ask and click OK .

| Yes. Periodically, Apple releases updates to your computer's software. Because
some updates are prerequisites for others, you may need to use
Software Update more than once to
get all available updates.
