The general studies program focuses on students taking their first two years of college at Ivy Tech Community College and then transferring their credits to other colleges and universities both in state and out of state. General Studies students complete a core of general education courses which include fundamentals of public speaking, English composition, exposition and persuasion, mathematics, and life and physical sciences. Also students select from courses which include history, government and politics, psychology, sociology and philosophy.
