The WED division also provides economic development solutions, which assists in attracting new businesses to the community by providing Accelerated Certified Training programs and services. Services include workforce training, assessment, consulting, apprenticeship coordination, vendor equipment training, and more.
We are available to consult with businesses regarding the training and continuing education needs of their employees and can respond quickly to an employer's just-in-time training needs. In conjunction with local economic development offices and the State of Indiana, WED is actively involved in producing Accelerated Certified Training services that assist employers in gaining a competitive edge in today's marketplace.
