The new Student Life Center at our North Campus is home to a Wellness Center for students, faculty, and staff to help increase or maintain health. The facility contains a fitness center, gymnasium, locker rooms/restrooms, and a softball diamond.
Fitness Center (SL107): This place has it all! The fitness center contains 12 pieces of cardiovascular equipment (all with personal viewing screens), a 13-piece strength training circuit, and a stretch trainer to make the most out of your workout.
Gymnasium (SL118): Up for a little basketball? What about a rousing game of volleyball? Whether you are practicing your free-throw or unwinding with some yoga between classes, the gym is the place to do it.
Locker Rooms and Restrooms: Located between the fitness center and the gymnasium, there are lockers to safely store your personal belongings while you are working out. Users must provide their own locks, and personal belongings must be collected prior to the building closing. Showers are available in the locker rooms, so feel free to work out before work or on your lunch break.
Softball Diamond: With lobe ball, kickball, or a friendly game of softball, the softball diamond is great for soaking up some afternoon sun.
Please remember to have your Ivy Tech ID present while using the facilities. You might be asked to produce it on occasion.
