Student Ambassadors
Students Programming for Students
Student Ambassadors work directly with the Student Life Office to build community at Ivy Tech. Through welcoming events like New Student Orientation, educational events like our yearly Transfer Fair, and social events like our Night at the Komets game or study breaks on campus, Student Ambassadors encourage Ivy Tech students to get to know one another outside of the classroom.
Serving as a Student Ambassador is a great way to learn about what's going on around campus, to meet Ivy Tech Students from all walks of life, and to build organizational and leadership skills. If you have ideas for activities you'd like to see on campus, if you like making others feel welcome, or if you enjoy doing the behind-the-scenes work to make sure everything runs smoothly, then we need you!
Want to join in the fun? Contact the Student Life Office or stop by one of our events and talk to some current Ambassadors. We're happy to sign you up anytime!
You'll see Student Ambassadors working at New Student Orientation, passing out food at study breaks, hosting holiday parties, and assisting at Ivy Tech's educational and cultural events. Whenever you see Student Ambassadors, you can know that there's a special treat waiting for you—so stop by to see what's happening!
Learning is meant to be - active, passionate, and personal.

Student Life opportunities extend your education outside of the classroom. There are ways for you to get involved through leadership training, professional development, social, cultural and recreational activities.
Student Life can help you join a club or start a new club or organization. We will take you through the process step by step.
