Whether you are interested in transferring course work from another institution to Ivy Tech or considering transferring your Ivy Tech credits on to another institution when you are finished taking classes here, we are here to help you meet your goal.
Ivy Tech Community College is a fully accredited institution. We accept classes from other institutions based on class content and similarity to the courses we offer, and on institutional accreditation. Because we are fully accredited, our classes transfer to many higher education institutions.

Looking to transfer college credit?
- You must submit an official college transcript to the Student Support and Advising Services Office, Room CC1240. Call 260-480-4125.
- Transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from the institution of transfer credit and must include the school’s official seal or signature.
- You are responsible for any transcript fees due to the college you are getting your transcripts from.
- Transcripts are evaluated by the Registrar’s office and take approximately 30 days to be evaluated.
