Job Zone for Students and Alumni

JobZone’s user-friendly interface makes it easy for you to create an account and search available jobs, internship, and Co-op opportunities. This service is free to students and alumni of Ivy Tech Community College, but you must first create an account to view and apply to posted opportunities.

Also, consider joining our mailing list to receive information regarding employment and career fair opportunities, as some employers or agencies contact us directly instead of posting to JobZone.

A few reminders

  • Keep your account active by accessing it frequently; otherwise, it will go inactive after 20 days.
  • Upload a résumé to apply to blind ads or to ads that employers have chosen to receive résumés through the system.
  • Open ads give you a separate location to send your résumé.
  • Uploaded résumés must be accepted through JobZone by Career Services, so uploading ahead of time will allow you to use this free service quickly when postings appear.
  • Make sure you designate your academic record to accommodate employers searching for applicants. If the employer uses the select criteria option, you could be denied because there is not a perfect match in your academic profile. If you leave something blank or do not mark it in all areas that apply, you could be denied application.
