The Crossroads program also provides more than just academic benefits!. Crossroads students currently attending Ivy Tech may use student services and facilities at IPFW. Crossroads students can also choose to live in IPFW's brand-new Student Housing, making campus activities at both Ivy Tech and IPFW that much more accessible.
Crossroads Student Life Extras:
- Access to IU libraries state-wide
- Access to reference librarian to assist with research
- Career counseling services
- Computer software classes
- Internet account and computer labs
- Access to Gates Sports Center with fitness/conditioning equipment, indoor track, basketball/volleyball/wallyball courts
- Access to NCAA Division I athletics, admission to all IPFW home games, including those at the Coliseum
- Admission to all IPFW music, theatre and fine arts events
- Discounts at various businesses with your Official University ID, including Rave Motion Pictures tickets
- Access to more than 90 student organizations and clubs
- Access to hundreds of IPFW events, from comedians and cookouts to distinguished lecturers
- Participate in intramural sports activities
To get your IPFW official mastodon card so you will be able to participate in all of the Student Life Extras you need to:
- Complete a Student Life application form available from either Crossroads Office (IPFW or Ivy Tech).
- Activate your my.ipfw.edu account from any computer via the internet. Make sure to write down your IPFW username and student identification number.
- Go to the IPFW Bursar's Office, Kettler Hall G57 to pay the $90 per semester fee. (The fee is not refundable after the first week of class).
- Wait 24 hours, then take your receipt, picture ID and IPFW username to Walb Student Union to get your IPFW student ID card. The information desk is located on the first floor and is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday, 12:30-9 p.m.
NOTE: Students who are taking classes at both IPFW and Ivy Tech do not need to purchase the Crossroads Student Life ID card.
