Operating System

Windows XP Pro - This operating system is installed on all CAE machines.

Internet Browser 

Internet Explorer 6.0 - This web browsing utility allows users to view and interact with web pages.

Mozilla Firefox 3.0.10 - This is another web browsing utility that allows users to view and interact with web pages.

Anti-virus

McAfee 8.5.0i - This software protects machines from known software vulnerabilities. NOTE: This is primarily an administrative utility.

MS Office 2007
MS Office 2003

Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint - This suite of programs includes Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access, which are used to create spreadsheets, visual presentations, text documents and databases, respectively.

Publishing

Publisher 2002, 2003, 2007 - This program allows users to create and edit publications that are to be distributed to a large number of people.

Web Design

MS FrontPage 2003 - This program allows users to create web pages.

Graphic Design 

Adobe Illustrator 11.0 – This program allows users to view and edit images.

Keyboarding 

CheckPro 2003 -This program allows users to practice lessons from specific text books, store their progress onto a profile, and includes skill building and assessment exercises

MicroPace Plus - This program allows users to assess their typing skills. A disk is mandatory in order for the program to work.

MicroPace Pro 2.0 - This program allows users to assess their typing skills and print the results in a report form.

Keyboarding Pro 4.0 - This program gives the user detailed instructions on building typing skills. It includes interactive videos. A text book is not necessary. This program has an easy interface and allows users to create profiles.

Visual Basic 6.0 - This program allows a user to utilize a graphical user interface to choose and modify preselected sections of code written in the BASIC programming language.

Visual Studio.NET - This program provides a set of tools for building and implementing XML web services and Windows-based applications.

Visual Studio.NET 2008 - This program provides a set of tools for building and implementing XML web services and Windows-based applications.

MSDN Library 6.0 - MSDN Developer Centers pull together content and resources around specific products and technologies. They connect you to code samples, community sites, technical articles and documentation, upcoming events, and much more. Each Developer Center gives you a clear road map to understanding and working with your technology of choice.

SQL Server - This program allows a user to develop relational databases that use MYSQL.

NetTerm - This program allows users to access a UNIX server in a windows environment.

Visual C++ - This program allows a user to utilize a graphical user interface to choose and modify pre-selected sections of code written in the C++ programming language.

HummingBird (AS400) - This program allows users to create detailed database programs using the AS400 environment.

HP Precision Scan Pro 3.02 - This software provides basic image scanning and image enhancement features.

PeachTree Complete Accounting - This accounting package provides the user with the tools to manage the finances of small businesses.

TurboTax Deluxe

Medical

SE Respiratory Exams - This software allows users to take Clinical Simulation, Entry Level, and Written Registry Exams. A password from an instructor is required to use the programs.

Language of Medicine - This software provides exercises to assist learning and understanding complex medical terms.

Administrative Medical Assisting - This program provides aid in learning and understanding essential and advanced competencies for the medical assisting profession.

Medical Terminology - This program allows users to learn medical terms by dividing them into component parts.

Vision Enhancer

ZoomText - This program, available on computer C-1, allows the user to enlarge images on the screen after a magnification value is selected.

Other

Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0 - This program allows users to view PDF files.

MyMathLab Plug-ins - These programs are designed to add functionality to viewing and use of content in the MyMathLab online courses.
