The purpose of the Children of Alumni Scholarship is to provide aid to a deserving student recipient in pursuit of quality education at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast. The Alumni Association typically awards at least $1,000 annually to one or more recipients based on need and qualification. Full-time students are eligible for the full $1,000 and part-time students are eligible for a $500 award. Applicants must be children or grandchildren of Ivy Tech Alumni who have received a technical certificate or associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College; attending Ivy Tech Community College Northeast; complete an application, and provide a transcript. Scholarship recipients must apply the scholarship award to Ivy Tech Community College tuition and fees, then books and supplies, and finally, living expenses. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic excellence, community involvement, and civic leadership.
Applications are due on August 1 each year.
