Program Overview

Ivy Tech Community College has utilized a grant from Lumina Foundation for Education to establish an exclusive special support office for 21st Century Scholars. The program will enhance scholars’ opportunities to succeed in college and to achieve their academic goals. It is the only such support program established for 21st Century Scholars in Northern Indiana and serves all nine counties.

Scholars Support Services

The 21st Century Scholars Support Office will assist scholars in adapting to college and succeeding academically. The office will offer students a way to connect with peers and college resources, including financial aid services, advisors, tutors and mentors. In addition, the Support Office will provide guidance in using available college and community resources to meet individual needs of scholars. The Support Office will also provide assistance to ensure the scholars understand and adhere to scholarship retention rules and college administrative regulations and deadlines.

The program seeks to provide meaningful assistance, ensuring scholars remain in school and complete their academic goals, thus obtaining the maximum benefit from their 21st Century Scholars financial aid.
