L. Premises Medical Payments Insurance

The College maintains Premises Medical Payments Insurance to cover the medical expenses resulting from bodily injury to invitees, guests, and/or visitors to the College.

Property owned or leased by the College is covered for medical expenses incurred within one year from the date of the accident, occurring on such property.  Coverage limits are $25,000 each person and $25,000 each accident.  Anytime an invitee, guest, or visitor is injured due to the College’s negligence, a general liability claim must be filed.  Details on filing a claim under general liability can be found in Section IV, Claims Procedure.  The appropriate forms can be located in the forms section of Infonet (http://infonet.ivytech.edu/college/forms.html) and are also located in the regional Human Resources department.
