Tuition and fees may be satisfied by cash, check or bank credit card. Student tuition and fees are due at the time of registration and a Late Fee will be assessed on the Sunday before the first day of the semester or the first business day of the week for a course scheduled to begin after the start of the semester. Tuition and fees that are to be billed to a contract party, must be verified by a letter, contract, or other adequate documentation, and kept on file at the Region. Payment for books and supplies may be deferred if a contract or anticipated financial aid will cover the charges.
- Credit students enrolled in a 16 week or greater semester may opt for an installment plan:
- The installment plan of 2 payments, not less than ½ of the assessed credit hour tuition and fees be payable on or before the established due date for the term, and the remainder due no later than 30 days after the first day of term.
- The installment plan of 3 payments, not less than 1/3 of the assessed credit hour tuition and fees be payable on or before the established due date for the term, not less than 1/3 more no later than 30 days after the first day of the term, and the remainder to be due 60 days after the first day of the term.

*Summer terms are limited to the 2 or 3 installment plans.
*Each semester, any student utilizing an installment plan will be assessed, a one-time non-refundable handling fee.
Generally, students who have a prior term balance will not be allowed to register until that balance is satisfied. However, the Chancellor or their designee, (the designee for this case must be a member of the business office staff) may allow a student to register if the situation warrants. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis.
- Late Fee. A statewide late fee will be assessed for any student who has:
- not paid or
- does not have a current contract authorization form on file or
- has not secured guaranteed financial aid*
- or has not utilized an approved installment plan by the Sunday before the first day of the semester or by the first business day of the week for a course scheduled to begin after the start of the semester. (Effective date of 4th bullet point January 1, 2009, all others effective August 1, 2008)
*A late fee will not be charged to any student who has been approved for financial aid but through no fault of the student, the award has been delayed.
- Any student who registers on line and accepts the installment option by clicking “okay” to acknowledge and agree to the installment charge is also subject to the installment fee. Campus Connect and Web4 may only be accessed through the use of a confidential personal identification number (PIN). Use of the PIN and clicking “okay” is considered equivalent to the student's signature. The Payment Gateway report is evidence of the installment.
